Growing up in Brazil, as any other kid around, I used to use the pencil 'skin color' to represent the skin tone of people I was drawing, but at that time I had no idea of the danger of that simple color. No one thought about that in the 90s, right? The year now is 2019, of course, a lot of history under the bridge and Faber-Castell launch of a whole line of brand new products called Caras&Cores (faces and colors) wich make possible that every child now can fill and play with their own color no matter what it could be, mashing up six different shades of skin for pencil, pen, lasticine, gouache and crayons. It's no doubt a special project because of everything that it represent for kids like me. And we did relaunching an iconic song from Toquinho that represents the act of draw in Brazil for any generation, and we updated it giving a new meaning since now everyone can paint, design, recreate themselves or whoever they want with their own skin color.
